We had a Shodo lesson  for foreign people in the meeting room at the hotel in Tokyo.

It was first time for them to experience Shodo which is Japanese calligraphy, but they were very good unbelievably.

They tried brushing as many characters as possible.

They enjoyed brushing a lot. I am an English speaker, so you can learn Japanese calligraphy in English without an interpreter.

We teach not only how to brush, but also the history of Japanese calligraphy, the history of characters, 6 calligraphic styles, and how to read and the meaning of each characters.

You can take a lesson at your hotel as well as at here in our Shodo Studio.

From our Shodo Studio#25 ~Shodo lesson for foreing people ;

This summer my students have been so busy to work on the pieces for Shodo exhibition plus examination. They have improved so much. Please come to the exhibition held in Ginza in October.
